Background:

Chris was raised in New Milford, Connecticut. A job after college with legendary artist’s agent Jane Lander was the perfect introduction to the New York City art scene through the worlds of advertising and publishing. During the 1990’s she managed the Jazz & Blues Department at Tower Records mega store on the upper West Side. Tower was a significant force in the music world and Chris’ experience in the retail record industry continues to enrich her painting.

Chris was selected as the CCCA poster artist for 2005 and 2008 Newport Concours and also poster artist for the 2011 Dayton (Ohio) Concours. She has exhibited widely in galleries, art associations and arts venues throughout the Northeast and New York City. She has participated in invitational exhibits at annual collector car events such as the Kruse Auction in Auburn, Indiana; the Louisville Concours d’Elegance; the Hamptons Concours d’Elegance; the Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Automobiles; the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance; the Fairfield County Concours d’Elegance; the Classic Car Club of America annual gathering at the Gilmore in Michigan.

Music-oriented fans can find Chris exhibiting at the annual Litchfield (CT) Jazz Festival and jaunts to the Newport Jazz Fest and the New Orleans Jazz Fest.
